In addition, there are workforce development programs offered by the Eastern Oregon Workforce Board who funds things like scholarships for high school CTE instructors. Workforce development programs and incentives are also offered by the state in collaboration with local economic development offices and the Small Business Development Center (SBDC).
Baker Technical Institute (BTI) is also known for their robust workforce development programs, especially when it comes to technical skills necessary for advanced manufacturing and information technology careers.
