Picturesque valleys and high alpine lakes and mountains make up the scenic Grant County of Eastern Oregon! Grant County includes the beautiful communities of John Day, Canyon City, Dayville, Granite, Long Creek, Mt. Vernon, Prairie City and Seneca. The expansive county is the size of Connecticut and is contained by the headwaters for the four forks of the John Day River. Rafting, kayaking, fly fishing, cross country skiing, hiking and road or mountain biking are only a few of the prominent activities to enjoy in the area.
